Our Reach

Through SJCL initiatives, we serve youth in underserved, low-income communities:

  • Students Pre-K to 5th, and high school Seniors

  • High school seniors' annual scholarship of $500 plus a Dell Computer

Professional & Historical

The Social Justice Civic League has a long history of supporting education through its annual Scholarship Ball and Scholarship Award Presentations. In January 2021, the organization held its 15th Annual Scholarship Award Presentation in Shreveport, recognizing graduating seniors with financial scholarships made possible through the support of community partners, including Brookshire’s Grocery Company and the Caddo Parish Commission.
